i always wondered why so many things happen together, one after the other. Like when you hear somebody talk about something like a jealous husband climbing down a chimney in the news, and then when you read a novel at night the same day and it tells a humorous tale about a burglar coming down a chimney. It happened to me yesterday.
Or when you haven't contacted somebody in over 5 years and all of a sudden you have a dream about them, clear out of the blue, almost as if you saw them just recently. Your brain, or your world can make you question if things really operate according to reason.
All this talk about science-- it should make us really question if there is a higher power... Singularities for instance, defy most of the laws regarding physics, and we don't know everything about them, but our universe is theorized to have sprang from this anomoly.
What i'm getting at is I think that something exists out there. People view the human species as the most important creatures on earth but are we? Did a higher power really intend for us to be more significant than giant whales or elephants? Skeptics might think that a benevolent god wouldn't allow for mankind to "suffer". All this emphasis on we has really made us think that god should share responsibility for the destruction and evil that we have brought upon ourselves. But fact is, the dinosaurs are extinct, and we are probably next. Who says that god has chosen us? First he chose the ugly looking dinosaurs, but they killed eachother and fought for survival due to climate change.
Are humans going to die following the same fate? Maybe if we can't seem to get along, and shit. The thing is, God is who you want him to be. If he will be there when you truly have nobody who loves you, and will be there when you die unmourned by other people, he is the one who you should turn to at such tragic times. So lift your head up, because nothing in this world comes free.
